Conformity & Food Safety

I want my pieces to be beautiful, but above all: safe to use.

For all pieces intended to come into contact with food or drinks, I carry out the required laboratory testing as part of my Declaration of Conformity. Depending on the applicable regulations, the tests cover substances such as lead and cadmium, as well as zinc, antimony and barium where required, taking into account the specific combination of my clay, glaze and the firing process used in my studio.

I work exclusively with lead-free glazes.

Every time you use one of my cups, plates or bowls, you can enjoy it knowing that the materials and processes behind it have been carefully considered and tested.
